NO..NO..NO..YOGA FOR ME

It all started with "NO..NO…yoga is not something for me”. This is all I heard from my boyfriend for years! He never wanted to join me to attend a class. Soccer, running and fitness was his thing. That is until ….he had a hernia. Not once - but 3 different episodes.

The advice from his doctor was to always keep moving. Walking helped him deal with the pain as it would ease it. Slowly -
with the combination of acupuncture, yin yoga, walking, stretching, rolling on a foam roller every night, he slowly loosened and lengthened his
hamstrings and back.

When I look back at the first pictures I took of him doing yoga every morning a year ago and compare that to the advance
poses he is now getting into, I am amazed at what the human body is capable of. With a little dose of self will, consistent practice, there is nothing that
a person is not able to achieve. Proud of watching his yoga journey expand and take fold to saying “YES.. YES.. YES..Yoga for Me".
